There's a story behind this image, but I can't be asked to tell it as much as most wouldn't want to read it.
The rocky terrain was a little difficult to put in place, but once I'd done it I was rather pleased with the result. You're meant to be seeing evidence of various storms on the dark side of the planet in the background so I'm hoping they're noticable and not simply merging with the dust in the foreground.

The nebula on the right of the planet came out really well, and the purple colours always look cool in space art 
those storms on the back could probably be fewer and smaller, just for a sharper-detailed and more realistic result. But it's a nice peice anyway
